Your child’s first eye exam can help protect healthy vision from the very beginning. The InfantSEE® program provides a comprehensive eye assessment for infants during their first year of life.
What Is the InfantSEE® Program?
InfantSEE® is a public health program developed by the American Optometric Association that provides a comprehensive eye assessment for infants between the ages of 6 and 12 months. The goal of the program is to identify potential vision or eye health concerns early, even before a child can communicate or recognize visual problems. During the exam, our doctors evaluate how your baby’s eyes focus, move, and respond to visual stimuli. We also assess eye alignment and examine the health of important eye structures to ensure that vision development is progressing normally.
