Dr. Steven B. Richlin is a therapeutic optometrist who is trained in the treatment and management of eye diseases, specialty contact lenses, corneal refractive therapy and the preoperative evaluation and postoperative care of patients.
Dr. Richlin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Zoology from San Diego State University and a Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. He is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, New England College of Optometry and Pacific College of Optometry. He has a strong philosophy for teaching and continues to welcome 4th year interns for their clinical rotations.
In 1988, The Los Angeles County Optometric Association named Dr. Richlin "Young Optometrist of the Year." In 1993, he received the Albert Schweitzer Humanitarian Award from the Sheba Medical Center in Israel.
Dr. Richlin is currently a clinical investigator for several contact lens manufacturers and has served as a Qualified Medical Examiner in Optometry for the State of California. He also has served as Chief of Optometry in Clinical Services at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. David J. Krasnow is a therapeutic optometrist who is trained in the treatment and management of eye diseases, specialty contact lenses, corneal refractive therapy and the preoperative evaluation and postoperative care of patients.
Dr. Krasnow earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of La Verne, Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Optics and a Doctorate in Optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry as well as a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of California in Los Angeles.
Dr. Krasnow has augmented his clinical career by working and consulting in England, North Africa, Central and South America and Asia. He is a founder and former Executive Director of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) California. He has designed and implemented eye care programs that have provided care to under served populations throughout Latin America and Asia.
He is also the Chairman and CEO of Diabetes Eye-D International, a company dedicated to large scale screening for diabetes worldwide.

Dr. Jackson K. Lau is a therapeutic optometrist who is trained in the treatment and management of eye diseases, specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, and the preoperative evaluation and postoperative care of patients.
Dr. Lau earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia and a Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry. He is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the Pacific College of Optometry.
Dr. Lau has been a clinical investigator for the Multi Ethnic Pediatric Eye Disease Study at the Doheny Eye Institute, Keck School of Medicine of USC. He is passionate about examining pediatrics since their visual abilities play a large role in their early development. He is also a clinical investigator for several contact lens companies.
Since 2003, Dr. Lau has donated some of his time away from the practice every year to work with the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) Northeast Division to help serve underprivileged areas in Central America.

Dr. Ken Lawenda is a therapeutic optometrist who earned his Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. He is the Chief of Optometry at Cedars Sinai Hospital and has been on staff for the past 25 years.
He has served on the Board of Trustees of the California Optometric Associate and is a past President of the COA. He was awarded the California Optometrist of the Year in 2007. He was appointed by Gov. Schwarzenneger to serve the Dept of Consumer Affairs on the Ca. State Board of Optometry. Dr. Lawenda helped the LA Free Clinic setup the Eyecare section at its inception. He was also selected by the 1984 Olympic Committee as an Optometrist to the Athletes as well as serving for the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver.
Dr. Lawenda is excited to be joining Dr. Richlin and Associates in practice in Beverly Hills.
